Long Lasting Tradition "Zilker Christmas Tree"
The Zillker Christmas Tree is “a rite of passage for any kid who grows up in Austin.” I am delighted the Zilker Tree will be back again for its 43rd year. I remember spinning under it as a little girl myself and now a family tradition with my daughter and husband. It is just one of the many enjoyments of Austin, TX such as canoe on Town Lake, train ride at Zilker, Congress bats. Christmas is a wonderful time to spend with family and there is no better way than to grab a bag of kettle popcorn and spin under this 152 ft tree. New families to Austin should definitely put the Zilker Tree on their list of family traditions to begin and existing families if not a tradition already it should become one this year. Spinning under this tree brings the kid out in everyone The Zilker Christmas Tree is a pleasurable “Austin icon” which I hope sticks around until the end of time.
